A lot of people say they want to make extra money or build a full time income but do not want to sell. But honestly, do they know what Selling IS?
People have this ‘assumption’ that selling is bothering your friends and family asking them to buy your products or services you are selling and let me tell you that is completely FALSE!
Let me tell you, first of all if you are going to sell you are going to sell to people WHO WANT TO BUY. Which means, in order to find these people, you are going to HAVE to learn to Market! Or Advertise….or BOTH. The bottom line is….if you want customers, you are going to have to do some dirty work and in the beginning its not always easy because you need to LEARN what works best for you.
There are all types of Marketing that you can do to market your Business.
Offline
Write a Press Release to submit to your local newspapers
Contact local stores to see if they want to market your products in their store
Have a Contest
Donate to a Charity
Create flyers and post them on bulletin boards, daycares, laundromats, etc…
Let people TRY your Product before they buy
Online
Submit an Online Press Release
Use Pay Per Click (i.e. Google Adwords)
Write Articles
Visit forums and post your signature
There is no limit to how to market your business. Once you figure out how you no longer have to worry about bothering people to buy your stuff. They will instead come to you.

2I completely agree. It drives me nuts seeing these people posting ads and it says No Selling Required. I am always tempted in asking well what was that post? A Sales Pitch! So yea sometimes they say that when there is no product to sell but they have to sell them selves and from what I have experienced selling yourself is a lot harder then selling any product.
Thank you for sharing the offline tips they are great.
