I am sure y’all remember that AGLOCO Business had been brought down because of lack of funds and that their idea was good, but it was missing something to bring the whole venture together and now they are forced to close, although they did build a huge database of members (which I am not sure what they are going to be able to do with it) and continue to do so.
The first thing I learned is, as an Entrepreneur, you need to take chances or you will not get anywhere. You have to take risks, with your money and your time, and you may fail not once, not twice but many times before you Succeed. Its just something you have to do. Don’t ever feel like your ‘losing’ your money or ‘losing’ your time because you aren’t you are just one more step away from becoming your own dream come true.
John Chow, also brought up a good point. That there is no such thing as bad press and there isn’t! This guys did it, they took the chance, went out there and built a HUGE network, AGLOCO also brought John some more traffic, which he isn’t too ashamed to admit.
But look at Celebrities, they now feed off of the bad press because they know that people will be talking about them, buying their albums, etc…and look at those people who, like John Chow, get to get traffic and other things from just mentioning it. A good example is, Britney Spears, she had ’supposedly’ met her new lover at the gas station, was the guy upset that the train wreck had visited? Heck no! It just brought him more sales
and welcomed her back!
Bad Press is always Good Press. I think its a reminder that those people and things are still there, so the reminder boosts people curiosity and interest in being involved in whats going on. Businesses have the same effect. You basically have to put yourself out there (hopefully in a positive manner :D) and remember some will like it, some won’t but who cares!
Thank y’all for listening….I mean reading…

1It sad AGLOCO business get down. We can learn here that sometimes the business get down not because its too small in turnover but because you feel yourself too small to manage your business which is becoming Giant with everyday. When you start something you should be prepared to handle and manage the warmth of it’s becoming huge. John also submit at one point of time that “it will be interesting to see how can will handle this business when the network will grow bigger and bigger”. Nice post jackie

2Nice post. I totally agree with you. I was into Agloco because I saw opportunity to make money but unfortunately it didn’t materialise.
