So, you’ve made the decision to start a home based business. You have thought it through and decided you wanted to supplement your income, do something to take over your current income working outside the home or just wanted to do something you were passionate about.

Then, you had thought about it some more and realized you do not have any money to start a home based business.

DO you really need money to start a home based business? The answer is yes and no.

But if you really want to work for yourself, money should not matter, because one way or another if you want to do something you so desire then you will be able to work your home based business.

But first, let me remind you, you do have OPTIONS:

- Telecommuting from home - Which means, having a job from home if you are not quite ready to get serious about doing your own business you could always work from home. Plenty of telecommuting jobs can be located on the web, beware of scams though. Any ‘job’ that requires you to pay a fee, is a SCAM. UNLESS it is a home based business opportunity.

- Business with low or no start-up cost - There are plenty of businesses out there that you do not need a start-up or have a low start-up cost. But keep in mind, you WILL have to pay somehow, either with TIME OR MONEY.

Want to start a business and take it seriously? You could always sell stuff on eBay out of your attic, take out a loan either with a friend, bank or relative, budget your money to set aside for your home business, there are plenty of things to get going.

What I personally do is set money aside every week for my business. Its important to take your business seriously so that you can learn to make a serious income.

Also, being new to earning a home based income does not come quickly! It doesn’t happen overnight. Although in some rare cases it can. But you have to learn to market yourself and the product or service you are promoting and do it consistently you will become a Success! :)
